Suzie Winkle – Spring Summer 2013 Collection
On 27 February 2013The Suzie Winkle brand was founded in 2007. The name is a play on the popular American comic strip of the 30s, Winnie Winkle.
All Suzie Winkle collections are made in France, in small workshops and pieces are often produced in small or limited runs. Collections typically feature a re mixture of jacquards, linens, textured cottons, colourful prints, silks and yarn died fabrics. Suzie Winkle designer, Laury Aragües’ collections are usually inspired by her passion for music, film and travel.
The Spring Summer 2013 collection is inspired by Le Corbusier’s cabin in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, a small, functional & stylish dwelling, surrounded by green vegetation, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The prints are vivid, visual and geometric, the colour palette evokes visions of the Mediterranean landscape.
We have selected the Promenade and Littoral dresses, plus light flowery tops, Eileen and Girelle. View the entire Suzie Winkle collection here, along with other French designers, Roseanna and Valentine Gauthier.
